Top 10 Steakhouses in Los Angeles: A Metro-Area Booking Guide
Los Angeles steakhouse planning often means choosing a neighborhood before choosing a cut. This guide compares ten current locations across Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Manhattan Beach, Venice and Culver City. Official restaurant pages were checked October 29, 2026 for addresses, operating status, menu focus and booking routes.
How we selected and ordered this list
Marrow Publishing selected exactly ten steak-focused restaurants with verified Los Angeles-area addresses and current official location, menu or booking pages. The geographic scope includes the City of Los Angeles plus West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Manhattan Beach and Culver City. That metro definition helps compare destinations that diners commonly plan as part of the same Los Angeles trip while keeping every address explicit.
The seven restaurants already in Marrow's national Top 100 appear first and retain their relative national order. Three additional metro selections follow based on geographic range, distinct menu approach and usefulness for different plans. Their local placement does not create a national ranking or change the published Top 100. This is a source-led editorial guide; it does not claim anonymous visits, kitchen testing, customer ratings or awards.
Compare the ten Los Angeles-area locations
Use the location-specific official link in each entry. Several of these restaurant groups operate elsewhere, and a brand homepage may show menus, policies or hours for another city.

1. Gwen — Hollywood
Gwen is at 6600 Sunset Boulevard. Its official restaurant page describes an à la carte menu shaped by the adjoining butcher shop, dry-age rooms, a wood-fired hearth and an asador. That combination makes Gwen a useful choice when the preparation and sourcing program matter as much as the individual cut. The restaurant currently takes dinner reservations and also posts a separate walk-in policy, so review both before choosing a date.

2. The Arthur J — Manhattan Beach
The Arthur J is at 903 Manhattan Avenue in Manhattan Beach. The restaurant's menu page describes prime cuts cooked over an open flame and also lists raw-bar, seafood and brunch choices. It fits a South Bay itinerary and offers a different neighborhood setting from the Beverly Hills and Hollywood rooms on this list. Use the official reservation page for the current service schedule and booking link.

3. CUT by Wolfgang Puck — Beverly Hills
CUT is inside Beverly Wilshire at 9500 Wilshire Boulevard. The official location page links directly to menus and reservations and describes a steak program that spans beef from several countries alongside seafood and other dishes. Consider it when the group wants to compare multiple beef styles in one Beverly Hills dining room. Check the current hotel restaurant page for operating nights before booking.

4. Chi Spacca — Melrose
Chi Spacca is at 6610 Melrose Avenue. Its official menu is organized around antipasti, meat and fish, with availability-dependent dishes that can change. The butchery focus and shareable formats make it distinct from a conventional steak-and-sides menu. Review the current menu with the table before reserving, especially when a specific cut or large-format dish is the reason for the visit.

5. Taylor's Steak House — Koreatown
Taylor's Los Angeles location is at 3361 West 8th Street. The official site publishes separate details for this dining room and the La Cañada branch; the Los Angeles page is the one relevant here. Its traditional steakhouse format and Koreatown address offer a different planning option from the newer Westside restaurants. Confirm the current reservation policy and Los Angeles hours on the official page rather than using details for La Cañada.

The restaurant recommends reservations, especially for weekends and peak dining periods, and publishes a dress code on the same page.

It works for a table comparing several beef categories with substantial non-steak choices. Read this location's arrival and attire guidance before booking; the restaurant posts specific door-closing rules tied to its last reservation times.

Before you reserve
- Match the exact location to your route. Cross-metro drives can take longer than the meal plan suggests, especially around peak traffic.
- Check the official menu and booking flow for service hours, cancellation terms, dress rules, valet details and any charges disclosed for your date.
- Ask the restaurant directly about available weights, shared portions, allergies or accessibility needs before arrival.
- Treat menu examples as current snapshots. Cuts and large-format dishes can sell out or change with availability.
